Our Strength classes, held in a dedicated functional training space, are designed to build full body strength through circuit style workouts inspired by exercises similar to Hyrox and CrossFit. Each session features a variety of movements and weights targeting the entire body, focusing on form and control. And to finish each class, we end with an energising finisher, leaving you rushing with those post-workout endorphins! Whether you’re experienced or new to strength training, the instructors are there to guide and support you throughout.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS
It's so easy to book classes on the PureGym App or on our website by simply selecting your chosen gym, viewing the class timetable and finding a class and time that suits you!
If you are new to classes, let your instructor know when you arrive, and they will help you get started -- all of our classes cater for all abilities, so you can work at your own pace.
WHAT TO WEAR
Come dressed in comfortable, breathable non-restrictive clothing -- remember, our classes will get you moving! Don't forget to bring a towel to freshen up and a water bottle to hydrate (we have water fountains in every gym to refill any reusable water bottle).

Strength classes include performing 8 exercises targeting your whole body using free weights and a finisher for conditioning and improving your cardio fitness.
Strength classes use resistance equipment and body weight to challenge all major muscle groups, helping you build strength. You will perform exercises such as goblet squats, reverse lunges, overhead dumbbell presses, and double kettlebell deadlifts, among others. These exercises often involve equipment like kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, and slam balls.
Strength classes are a great workout that you do in under an hour to help strengthen your entire body.
This will depend on your goal and fitness levels. The maximum recommended is two to three times a week.
