Lift is a weight training class which helps you to get the benefits of weightlifting in the comfort of our studios. Our qualified instructors will lead you through a full body workout using moderate weights and reps to build strength, burn fat, and sculpt lean muscles. While all Lift classes focus on building muscle strength and endurance through resistance exercise, exercises may vary each week to keep things interesting. No matter what exercises or muscle groups are being worked, expect a lot of emphasis on form and technique.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS
It's very easy to book a spot on one of our Lift classes via the PureGym App or on our website. Simply select your chosen gym, view the class timetable and Lift in the class calendar.
If you are new to PureGym’s classes, let your instructor know when you arrive, and they will help you get started.
WHAT TO WEAR
Come dressed in comfortable, breathable non-restrictive clothing -- remember, in this class you’ll be lifting weights and burning up a sweat! Don't forget to bring a towel to freshen up and a water bottle to hydrate (we have water fountains in every gym to refill any reusable water bottle).

Weightlifting can burn between 200 and 600 calories per hour. In a Lift class we would expect you to burn an amount similar to this. However, the calories you burn depends on many factors such as your height, weight and fitness level.
Strength class is a great workout that you do in under an hour to help strengthen your entire body.
Strength class works your whole body, as the moves involved use all of your muscles. During a class, you'll burn calories, improve your cardiovascular fitness, tone and improve your core strength.
