Members can park for free at our Oxford Templars Shopping Park Gym. Parking restrictions apply, check the gym page for more info. We do not have free parking available at our Oxford Central gym. The nearest carpark is Oxpen's carpark.
All of our gyms in Oxford are open 24 hours.
PureGym memberships are contract-free, so you can join without committing to staying for longer periods. We also do 1, 3, 7, and 30 day passes if you’d rather try the gym for a shorter period before joining.
All our gyms in Oxford offer a mix of free weights, plate loaded, cable, and fixed resistance machines, cardio machines, and functional equipment. The equipment between gyms may vary slightly.
All the gyms in Oxford run group fitness classes throughout the week, which are included in your membership. Class timetables vary between each gym. To see what classes are on, visit the individual gym pages or download the free PureGym app.
All the gyms in Oxford have a friendly team of Personal Trainers available to hire. PTs can help you to achieve your fitness goals in several ways including 121 training sessions and bespoke fitness programmes. Check out the gym homepages or visit the PT hub within the gym to find a Personal Trainer. Personal Training is not included in your PureGym membership.
All the gyms in Oxford have male and female changing areas with individual showers, free lockers, hairdryers, and spare plug sockets, as well as toilets. You’ll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers.
None of our gyms in Oxford currently have a women's workout space.
Members need to be at least 16 years old to sign up for a PureGym membership.
All of our gyms in Oxford have free 02 WiFi. Simply select the 02 WiFi and follow the instructions in the browser to log in.
We do not have facilities like swimming pools or spas in any of our gyms. This helps us to keep the cost of our memberships down so that more people can afford to join the gym.

If you're a student at the University of Oxford looking for a gym to join, PureGym Oxford Central is just 0.4 miles away from campus! For Oxford Brookes University students, our Templars Shopping Park gym is closest at 2 miles away. Make sure to check out our student membership page for student discounts here.
Best gyms for classes
Fitness classes are included in your PureGym membership, and both our Oxford gyms have a range of cardio, strength, and conditioning classes on each week. PureGym Oxford Central has a slightly more extensive timetable so may be better if you prefer to attend classes. However, we'd recommend checking the gym pages or the PureGym app to see which timetables are best for you.
Best gyms for beginners
If you prefer more functional training styles like calisthenics, you'll be pleased to know both of our Oxford gyms have large functional training zones with kit like slam balls, rigs, and plyo boxes that are suitable for this type of training.
